Jason McElwain Autistic Basketball Player

Jason McElwain has tenacity. He was a valued, dedicated member of his school basketball team before he ever got to play. He had earned respect of his teammates as their manager. Once he got in the game, he missed badly, but he kept trying when most of us would be demoralized. He kept shooting, made a shot then got “hotter than a pistol”.

Most of us give up when we don’t get in the game. We give up when we miss badly. We never give ourselves the opportunity to get “as hot a pistol”. As a result, how much of an abundant life are we missing?
